Introduction

Squawk codes are issued to aircraft as part of their Airport clearance, as well as issued to Aircraft entering an ACC airspace. Also known as SSR's (Secondary Surveillance Radar) or Transponder Codes, a Squawk Code is a radio identity code that allows a specific aircraft to be identified on a radar scope by its own specific code.

In Pro Controller a Call sign is shown on radar by default, unless an aircrafts flight plan has not been sent or received and we would then see a Squawk Code.

Squawk Codes

In TURKEY Squawk Codes for commercial and emergency use in Numerical Order (controllers are advised to be careful when issuing squawk codes 7000 and above due the close proximity of the Special Purposes Codes)
